Description
In this class you will learn how to make traditional sweets of Sardinia. Each sweet is traditionally prepared for a religious holiday throughout the year. Use this recipes as to take home an authentic and sweet memory of our island.
PAPASSINOS: traditional Sardinian cookies made with dried fruit and nuts made for All Saints’ Day
TRONCHETTO: sponge cake and meringue (not traditional) prepared for Christmas
PISTIDDU: a sweet pastry filled with honey and mulled wine made for the Feast of Sant’Antonio.
CHIACCHERE E VUVUSONES: fried yeast dough eaten for Carnevale
CASATINE AND PIZZINEDDAS DE OVU: baked tarts filled with fresh sheep’s cheese or ricotta
AND decorated sweet bread made for Easter
All participants will be given an apron, recipe cards and a pen.
Rules
Note: preparation of up to 3 desserts at your choice
Su Barchile reserves the right to cancel the course or change the dates if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In case of cancellation, the registration fee already paid will be returned or can be used, at the choice of the member, for other events organized by Su Barchile.
Cancellation Policy
If the member, for personal reasons not associated with Su Barchile, should decide not to attend a paid class to which he was enrolled, at least 24 hours before the start of the course, he can withdrawal and cancel without penalties and obtain a full refund.
If the member wishes to cancel participation without any written communication to Su Barchile, within the terms indicated above, he will not be entitled to a refund of the sums already paid.
